| abstract |
This marine multibeam and sidescan survey (2015_9_SNH) took place in three phases (25/11/2015 to 03/12/2015, 17-28/02/2016 and 04-17/04/2016) in the area off South and East coast of Arran on board the RV White Ribbon. The survey was carried out by the British Geological Survey (BGS) on behalf of Scottish Natural Heritage/MarineScotland. The aim of the survey was ensonification of 10 areas designated by SNH. Sea floor bathymetry data were collected using a Kongsberg EM3002D multibeam system and dual frequency Sidescan Sonar (100khz, 455khz). These data are archived by BGS.
