abstract Survey work began at the Mid St George’s Channel rMCZ. Hamon grab and Drop Camera survey. To increase the number of ‘regular’ stills collected from this site, short (2 minute) DC deployments were carried out more frequently and in addition to the planned standard (10 minute) DC deployments. In areas of the site where less than 100% multibeam data coverage existed additional Multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data were collected during transits between ground-truthing stations. On completion of the ground-truthing survey two additional blocks of Multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data were surveyed. These data are archived with the Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) Data Archive Centres (DACs) including the British Geological Survey (BGS) DAC for geology and geophysics, The Archive for Marine Species and Habitats Data (DASSH) and the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) bathymetry DAC. The full site data package including raw is also available on request from BGS.
