abstract |
This marine geophysical survey undertaken by Institiute of Geological Sciences (BGS) took place in September 1972 in the River Great Ouse between West Bank Beacon & Denver Sluice aboard the fishing boat "Brenda". The purpose was to determine the extent of buried channels. Subsurface seismic data (6 lines) were gathered using a sparker. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS report WB/MG/72/36.
