| abstract |
This marine geophysical survey took place in June 1977 in Forties area, UK Blocks 15/28 & 21/3 aboard the M. V. Crisilla by Sonarmarine, overseen by British Geological Survey (BGS) representatives, part funded by British Petroleum. The purpose of the contract was to investigate Pockmark "Witch's Hole". Sea floor data were collected using side-scan sonar. Subsurface data were gathered using Deep tow Boomer and Sparker equipment. This survey is reported on in Sonarmarine Report No. S/7034/028 (SO/77/16); Stevenson, 1977 and BGS report WB/MG/79/98.
