abstract This geophysical survey has been carried out by Department of Geodesy & Geophysics, Cambridge University, the survey took place from August to September 1969 from Barry to Greenock on board the RRS Discovery. These trials were undertaken during National Institiute of Oceanography geophysical cruise 29. The purpose was to collect data from trials of LaCoste and Romberg gravity meter S-40. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS report WB/MG/69/2.
