abstract This geophysical survey was carried out by the British Geological Survey, supported by UK Department of Energy. The survey took place in August 1975 in the North Sea on board the M.V. Locator. The purpose was to collect data as part of a study to measure hydrocarbon gas levels in the water mass using an Interocean Sniffer relating to pockmark studies. High-resolution shallow-seismic data were collected using Pinger and Sparker. See BGS reports MGU 98 summary & UC97.
