This marine geophysical survey took place in the Firth of Forth in April/May 1975 aboard the FV Strathyre II. The purpose of the cruise was to two fold: 1) carry out a shallow seismic site investigation off Musselburgh for the National Coal Board, 23 April to 2 May. 2) To firmly establish geophysical and geological test ranges with the Forth, 3-21 May. Technical details of the survey are contained in BGS report WB/MG/75/67.
